Renovation of the dunes between De Haan and Wenduine
The renovation of the dunes between De Haan and Wenduine on the Belgian coast involves three new staircases. These constructions are respectively 220, 75 and 50 meters long.

Because of it’s strength the species Okan and Azobé has been used for the load-bearing part of the structure and the walls keeping the dunes in place.

Tali has been used for the treads and handrails due to it’s high durability in order to minimize maintenance. In total 200 m³ of wood has been used for the project - all FSC-certified.
