The project in Roosendahl in the Netherlands consist of 20 apartments and 12 lakeside villas. The apartment buildings has 5 'maisionnettes' on the waer- and entrance-level.
The first, second and third floors are the apartments. Entrances and garages on the first floor of the villas can be reached by the connecting wood covered bridges.
The living room is on the ground floor, near the water. A big terrace connects the living room with the water and the splendid view on the lake. The apartments have a large balcony and a south-west facing livingroom.
The houses, which are yet to be constructed i n2015, have big terraces just above the water level. They too will have entrances and garages on the first floor, which can be reached by the connecting bridges. Due to the apartments being able to oversee the houses, they will all have roofs covered with colorful plants. The color of the plants will change during the seasons.
The serval tropical timber species have been used for this project. Louro Preto adorn the facade as cladding and for the large areas with decking is used both Cupiuba, Massaranduba, Araracanga and Cumaru. All species is delivered as FSC certified.
