Pavilion in Roosendaal
This beautiful building was built in the city of Roosendaal (NL).

The city decided to ban cars from the New Market in the town center. The urban design-office Quadrat was asked to come up with a design which could turn this idea into reality in a functional and aesthetically pleasing way. They designed this beautiful pavilion and a two-storey underground parking garage in connection with the pavilion.

The FSC certified wood used for exterior, cladding and decking in this project is Sucupira Amarela. The choice of using wood was made to make the building seem warm and wood was therefore the most obvious choice.
