Odense Harbour Square
In the Danish city Odense the harbour has been renovated and a new stairs/deck construction now adores the front. The new square is the biggest in the city and is meant to drag life and activity from downtown to the old harbour area.

The wooden part of the squares is constructed in a way, so that one part of it encourages physical activity, while the other part is meant for more relaxing socialisation.

The wood species used for this project is Massaranduba. When new this species appears red-brown and it has a high strength. It is typically used for decks and terraces.
