Science Park Het Kasteel
The 45 meter tall tower of the Het Kasteel building acts as a landmark for Amsterdam’s Science Park area. The structure is complemented by a large internal wooden courtyard, which is accessible to pedestrians and cyclists by a wooden bridge.

In total a rather large selection of different of tropical timber species was used for exterior decking, cladding and for constructing the bridge. Species includes Cumaru, Louro Faia, Louro Itauba, Massaranduba, Muiracatiara, Uchi torrado, Sucupira vermelho - all FSC Certified.

The project was completed in 2007.
